Are you a morning person or a night owl?

Night owl, definitely. I dread getting up early, and I feel more alive at night. Although I do need some sunshine to keep functioning, I seem to wake up better at night, even if I'm dead tired. It's hard for me to go to sleep early, it's even harder to wake up early. Give me the night, unfortunately the "normal" world over here isn't very convenient for night owls like me, as everything closes around 6 pm.

What's the last thing you crafted, constructed or created yourself?

I just cast on a new square/rectangle piece for a quilt I plan on making, that will consist of different coloured patches sown together.

Also finished : one of the boxes, a tealight candleholder, a necklace for my Onyx stone and that's about it I believe!

How many languages can you speak?  Which languages can you read or understand?

I believe I've answered this one before.

Speak : Dutch, French, English, some German

Read : the above, some Italian, some of the Scandinavian languages I can make out, Afrikaans

There's a long road to go before I'll be fluent in all the languages I wish to be ;)

What's your middle name?  Is there a story or history behind it?

I have three : Marie Clothilde Ghislaine

There's a story behind it indeed.  Marie is for the Virgin Mary and her protection, it's family tradition on my mother's side. Ghislaine for the same reason, but as a protection against some childhood disease. It's how my mom and aunts are named Myriam, Maryse and Ghislaine! 

Clothilde on the other hand we do not know.  It was a midwife and a hospital assistant or something who went to declare me, and they apparently got my name wrong.  I was supposed to have "Stéphanie" as first name, but my dad changed that last minute.  My other middle name was supposed to be Charlotte, but somehow I ended up with Clothilde, as in Saint Clothilde, who converted the Merovingians to Christianity. 

Pretty sacral names for a Pagan aren't they.  Especially if you consider "Nathalie", my first name, means "birth of Christ" in Latin!

How well do you know your next-door neighbors?

Not at all really. We live in an apartment complex, and I've never even *seen* our level neighbour. 

In my old place I did know my sister of course, who lived on the 4th floor while I was on the ground floor, and her next door neighbour came knocking on my door several times.  But that's it. 

Do you have any tattoos? If not, if you were going to get inked, what would you get?

I have one since seven years - a black tribal with a black/shadow rose in it, on my right shoulder.

Not a particularly good photo of it, but it'll do.

Next up : a sun/moon design on my right foot,  and a back piece with Yggdrasill, Huginn and Muginn, Geri and Freki, possibly a cat and some Runes ( no design as of yet ).

What's one thing that you'd like to get done this weekend? Is there anything holding you back?

FINISH THE THESIS OF DOOM. 

What's holding me back. Let's see -  I just have too much to do to actually completely finish it.  I hope to be mostly done with it though.
